What to Expect

Las Vegas started its humble beginnings in 1905 at the corner of Fremont Street and Main Street. Las Vegas Walking Tours will take you to where it all began, where the original settlers began their journey as they stepped off the train. Learn about the city’s history and how one visionary mayor transformed this place into a dazzling “jewel of the desert” where he brought in world-class entertainment, medical facilities, and businesses that flourished in downtown Las Vegas.

The tour takes on the most exciting parts of the city while learning about its history and secrets, secrets such as where to find a piece of the Berlin Wall inside a men’s room. See chandeliers from the 1850s from the San Francisco Opera House, 1870’s street lamps from Brussels, Belgium, or where to get bottomless champagne weekend brunch for only $12.

The Fremont Street walking tour is not complete without walking past the legendary Golden Gate, Golden Nugget, and The Plaza. Take a picture of the famous Vegas Vic while thrillseekers fly by 100-feet above on the Slotzilla zip line. The tour also takes you to Las Vegas’ craziest wedding chapels in Neonopolis.

The tour concludes at the Downtown Container Park at the chic Fremont East, Las Vegas’ version of Greenwich Village. This destination is home to restaurants, entertainment, and shopping boutiques.

Note: The tour lasts for 2 hours and is about 1 mile long. If you bought the Gold & Silver Pawn add-on, it’s another 0.7 miles. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring water as the weather can be very hot.
